Production Process
This one is dressed as a firefighter: yellow helmet with a paw badge on the front, a yellow turnout coat with a star on the chest, a black collar, and orange fur running to white on the legs and muzzle. It is a character rather than a species, and children read it that way before they read the sign.
Mechanically it is the same 24V ride-on used across the range: 350W brushless motor on the right rear wheel, two 12V 20Ah batteries in series, 150 kg load, 5–6 hours per charge, sessions from 1 to 99 minutes, started by coin or by remote.
Why a character sells rides
A dinosaur has to be recognised; a uniform does not. The helmet and coat put the unit in the same visual family as the rescue-and-uniform characters children already know from television, without borrowing anyone's design.
The helmet is a separate moulded piece, so it can be repainted or swapped when a site wants a different character on the same chassis.
The coat is painted rather than a fabric garment, so it does not fade, tear or need laundry.
The badges are moulded into the shell, which keeps them from peeling in a wet season.
The saddle band sits behind the handlebar and can be replaced on its own.
Matching it to a venue
Uniform characters work in family entertainment centres, mall concourses and community events where a dinosaur would look like an exhibit. Safety weeks, open days and school holiday programmes are the obvious pairing: the unit already carries the theme without extra dressing.
Riding it
The rider sits with both feet on the moulded rests and hands on the bar at chest height. The body is shallow enough that a child can climb on from the side rather than over a tall back.
Coin or remote
Coin mode for unattended sites, remote for staffed ones. Both are installed and either will start the car; an attendant can end a session early when a queue forms. Default session length and speed are set to your site before shipping.
Session, speed, music
1–99 minutes per session, 1–10 km/h, with 3–5 km/h recommended indoors. Music comes off an SD card in file order, so a sponsored jingle or a themed playlist is a card swap.
Battery and charging
24V 20Ah from two 12V 20Ah lead-acid batteries in series, charged on the supplied 24V 20Ah high-current charger. Running time is 5–6 hours per charge; a full recharge takes 6–8 hours.
Servicing
One integrated controller under the belly, with pack-voltage and motor-fault detection. Most faults are identified within five minutes; if the controller is the fault it is swapped whole with four screws and three plugs.
The right rear wheel drives; the other three are PU idlers, 120mm by 45mm. Steering runs on six sealed bearings.
Size and lifting
1.5–1.8m long, 0.55m wide, 1.0–1.5m high, 45 kg. Two people lift it and it fits in a van.
Build
Frame welded to drawing
Drive mounted
Wiring and controller fitted
Foam shaped over the frame
Head, ears and helmet carved
Coat and fur texture finished
Silicone skin applied
Paint, badges and saddle band
Where it works
Indoor play areas, mall concourses, community events and small parks on flat surfaces. Grass, slopes and steps are outside what it is built for.
What a ride returns
Five minutes at 5–15 USD is the common price. Ten dollars and thirty rides across an afternoon comes to 300 USD; the real figure follows footfall, position and what the local market pays.
Questions
Can we change the helmet colour?
Yes — it is a separate moulded part, so a different colour or finish is a paint decision rather than a new shell.
Will it take an adult?
150 kg rating, so an adult with a child fits. Riding rules are set by the site.
How long does a charge last?
5–6 hours of running, 6–8 hours to recharge. A spare pack covers a longer day.
Can it run outdoors?
On flat hard surfaces, yes; it is not built for grass, slopes or steps.
Is the music changeable?
Yes, by swapping the SD card or its files.
Part of a wider range
This unit shares its chassis with the rest of the ride-on line: Triceratops, Styracosaurus, Pachycephalosaurus, caterpillar, and the two dragons. Spares, settings and servicing are the same across all of them, which matters when a site runs several.
For static animal models rather than rides, the animatronic animal range covers the museum and zoo side. Venue type and floor go into the quotation form.
